Dubinky's Granfalloon

Dubinkey's Granfalloon was a student club at East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. The club existed from 1977 to 1979. The origin of the name is from "Dubinkey," an early settler in the Moab, Utah area, and "Granfalloon," a Kurt Vonnegut invented word meaning "a group of people who affect a shared identity or purpose, but whose mutual association is meaningless." Initially misspelled, Dubinky is the correct spelling. Biannual meetings were held at a remote desert site near Dubinky Well road outside Moab. Dubinky's Grandfalloon Press is named after the club.
