Dixie College vs. Ricks College. January 18, 1980. Played in Rexburg, Idaho. Radio broadcast. Two recordings preserved. First recording contains the end of Dixie’s January 12 game against CNCC and the beginning of the Ricks game.

Second recording contains the end of the Ricks game and the beginning of the January 19 game against Utah Tech. Dixie guard Eric Slaymaker is intentionally fouled in the final seconds and seals Dixie’s win with two free throws. Craig Hammer leads all scorers with 25.

Dixie College vs. College of Eastern Utah (CEU). January 11, 1980. Recording includes a short stretch of the Dixie College vs. Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) game on January 12, 1980. ICAC men’s basketball season opening game in Saint George, Utah. Craig Hammer of Dixie leads all scorers with 23. Fuzz Johnson of CEU shoots 0 for 5 from the free throw line.

Dixie College vs. Utah Technical College. January 19, 1980. Played in Saint George, Utah. Two recordings preserved. First recording includes the end of the January 18, 1980 game against Ricks College and the beginning of the Utah Tech game.

Second recording includes the remainder of the game. Rich Gremillion hits a crucial layup to overcome a ferocious comeback by Utah Tech. Craig Hammer of Dixie leads all scorers with 22.

Radio broadcast. January 5, 1980. Visiting Central Arizona dominates Dixie College from start to finish. Lewis Reece led all scorers with 21 points. Dixie was led by Bruce Hurst with 16. Hurst would later go on to a successful Major League pitching career, primarily with the Boston Red Sox.
